For all this to happen , the efficiency is a must have and its important to cut through the fuzz, and find a perfect smartphone which lends this multitude of features with ease of operations.
I gave you a little sneak peek of my new LeEco Max2 , the teaser to which you have already seen on my last post.
This post is just an extension to that and a brief review of some of the specs of LeMax2 ,to make you more technically adept so that you are able to make the most of your time. Operating System : LeMax2 runs on Android operating system which is currently most popular.The LeMax2 comes with Android 6.0 Marshmellow which is currently the newest Android version available . Since the company has launched and placed this phone as the only phone with a gamut of content from all across the globe, powered by Hungama , Eros now and Yupp tv India thus its the only Eco phone available in the market currently.
Display : With 5.7 inch QHD display screen and a resolution of 2K i.e 2560 x 1440 pixels, with a super retina display, this phone is just phenominal. LeMax2 reveals the future of VR and which offers enough space to enjoy the VR craze like a breeze, keeping me both entertained and productive. The display is just perfect to lend that user experience . Higher resolution display also means less battery life, and this is what I kinda love in this device.With 515 PPI, I have heard that it lends 1.8 times brighter sharpness than any smartphone released in 2016 till date. Keeping the power consumption less and minimal LeMax2 succeeds in keeping a busy woman (like me) always happy .
Processor :LeMax 2 is packed with the latest Quad-Core Snap dragon 820 which makes a debut in India for the first time. This not only optimises power and efficiency with a top configuration,but also enhances the loading speed 3x times faster. Indeed its the world's most powerful processor and LeEco is the first company to bring it to India. I am already quite pissed off with my current phone loading time , and I am happy to replace it without a compromise.
Body/ Look / Feel - Both the variants of LeEco - Le2 and LeMax 2 comes in Rose Gold colour. Shorter , Narrower and feather light , this phone is only 7gms lighter than Iphone 6 S Plus. For the style flaunter, this colour is a premium feature which is also a cherry on cake . I had always wanted a bigger screen for my phone coz nowadays I am streaming a lot of videos . From tutorials to unending tv programmes on you tube, I like to spend my time on my phone rather than sitting in front of tv literally. This phone is my answer to a bigger screen phone of course without spending a bomb. Being an all metal smartphone with an all space grade aluminium body, this phone has a sleek finish and a better body than the iphone or the recent one plus three.
Camera - This is my favourite part about reviewing the phone and my most used feature. LeMax 2 comes with a 21 MP rear camera for that snappy picture with a wide angle view. The Camera features has an autofocus , a dual Led flash, f/2.0 , an f/2.0 aperture ( I think its the new era of a smartphone beating the next Dslr ), Basic camera filters in the phone . I am pleased with the efficiency with which this phone in delivering great photos in low light conditions with natural colours being just intact.
Besides taking some breathtaking shots, the video quality is super commendable too. LeMax 2 takes Ultra HD videos with a resolution of 2160 P t 30 fps. Isn't that great? Perfect for blogging on the go.
The proof of a pudding is in eating , in the same way its the pictures that would attest the performance of this phone, so lets roll them in straight over.
Battery Life - No more conked off phones in this fast pace life . I love to see that battery bar to the fullest, and was so happy to know that LeMax 2 gives me a 3.5 hours talk time with just a 5 minutes of charge. The hardware is powered by 300 mAh battery and it charges the phone to a decent percentage before you finish that cup of coffee.
Audio - This is another great feature which I just can't wait to reveal known only to LeEco devices.
With both Le2 and Le Max 2 the brand has upgraded with the latest Continuous Digital Lossless Audio (CDLA) via USB type C and has finally got rid of the 3.5mm earphone jack. The research has proved that the audio quality drops while rooting through 3.5 mm analog port. After doing some tests, it was now possible to bring the CDLA technology to India and LeEco is the first company launching their propriety CDLA sound. The brand predicts a digitised audio era for the music industry which fights the interface noise, with a customised decoder built in the headset to make the future of sound look superior too. No more harsh treble, poor sound field and high pitch and interrupted audio. This phone has the best and the ultimate audio architecture.
I decided to test this with a 3.5 mm jack and the new cdla compatible earphones which I got with my Max. I got two people to listen to the same track and they got to chime in on the audio output delivered .
I can honestly say that the sound this phone produces is the best of any android I have used, even iphone 6. Then be it listening to Jazz or some classic rock , it doesn't leave a tone anywhere, and its like listening to the song as the composer meant it to be heard. The sound produced from the phone was as if its being directed straight from the speaker. Definitely strong audio quality - So Win !!!!
Storage- Its real, and that's why when LeEco used the tag line and the hashtag #2future, it really thought beyond that. At last there is some company that could give me a 6GB Ram . This is unusual and I thought my life was running quite well with a 2GB Ram until I had Max. This sounds crazy, but its true. That's some insane amount of RAM powered by the internal storage of 32Gb / 64 Gb against 4/6 GM RAM respectively.Totally the phone disrupted the industry norms of 2GB- 4GB RAM. Its tough and it gave enough competition to Apple with a RAM which is 3X more than IPhone6S Plus.
Content- Content is the King. We all heard that. I beg to differ. For me content is the king and queen both and nothing could beat true and original content.
I already mentioned live streaming of some of our favourite programmes and movies. LeMax2 defines the definition of entertainment...... sorry - the definition of supertainment if I may add. The future of content also looks amazing with Le2 and LeMax2 phones. No wonder LeEco has one of the best seller phones on Flipkart with around 500,000 superphones sold in 100 days and always bringing record breaker phones on the table.

Final verdict - Like many other phones Iphone has grown stale and with Apple crippling their devices after each new Iphone iteration, I want to move on and this phone seemed like the best that I could get my hands on in 2016. I am so intrigued with Le 2 and Le Max 2 and how much useful they both would be than my current iphone. Nonetheless audio quality is a major factor when making a future purchase and in my opinion we should always get the best. Currently don't know of any other phone in the market which beats this one.
